From your first application to your first paycheck — here's exactly what to expect when you join WeRide.
Apply to Join
Fill out a simple application online or in person at one of our NYC partner locations. No credit history, no prior experience, and no fees required. Our team reviews every application personally.
Meet Your Coordinator
Once accepted, you'll be paired with a WeRide program coordinator who will walk you through the program, answer your questions, and help you set goals for your first 90 days.
Get Trained & Geared Up
We provide a full safety training session, a certified helmet, reflective gear, and a fully-charged e-bike — all at no cost to you. Training takes one day and covers city riding, safety rules, and basic maintenance.
Start Riding & Earning
You're ready to ride. Use your e-bike for deliveries, courier work, or other micro-employment opportunities we connect you with. Keep your earnings — WeRide takes nothing from your income.
Build Toward Stability
As you earn, your coordinator helps you access housing resources, open a bank account, and plan your next steps. WeRide is a launchpad — we're here for the long haul, not just the first ride.
